This page explains what this site does and does not collect. It is short because the site does very little: it is a closed archive of articles with a contact form, and it does not have accounts, comments or a shop.

What we collect
The contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive what you type into it, including the email address you give us, so that we can reply. We keep those messages only as long as the correspondence is useful, and we do not use the address for anything else. We do not add it to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Comments
Comments are switched off across this site, so no comment data is collected.
Accounts
Readers cannot register on this site. There are no reader accounts and no reader profiles.
Server logs
Like any website, this one runs on a web server that records requests — the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies to track readers. If you are an administrator and log in, WordPress sets cookies to keep you logged in and remember your screen options; those are only ever set for logged-in staff, not for readers.
Third-party content
Some pages may include content served by third parties, including embedded media in older articles and advertising or sponsored links supplied by an advertising partner. When such content loads, the third party can see your IP address and set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited that company’s site directly. That happens under their privacy policies, not this one, and we have no access to what they collect.
Analytics
This site does not run its own analytics or tracking scripts.
Who we share your data with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or pass on anything you send us. The only exception would be a lawful order we are obliged to comply with.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are kept while the exchange is live and deleted once it is finished. Server logs are rotated and overwritten by the hosting provider on its own schedule.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write through the contact form and say what you want. In practice, for almost every reader, the answer is that we hold nothing at all.
Changes to this page
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it.
